BANANO is 100% freely distributed since April 2018 and growing steadily since then. BANANO has feeless transactions, so don’t worry about gas fees or transaction fees ever again! Now it’s time for another fresh Monthly Update from the BANANO ecosystem! The idea of those monthly updates is to keep our community informed, provide a good starting point for new people looking at the project, and to be transparent about BANANO’s ongoing distribution activities and community growth.

This BANANO Monthly Update May 2021 summarizes all important happenings in the BANANO ecosphere in April 2021, which was the 37th month since the BANANO main-net launch.

Note: Similarly to the last monthly update, this one is a little delayed, but things have been so active, busy, crazy and awesome in the BANANO ecosystem lately, with so many new users joining, that this got delayed again. Well, it still is good to have complete records about BANANO growth, important metrics and distribution over time, so I’ll still get it out for reference. If you followed the invitation to the BANANO Birthday event at the BANANO Discord on April 1st, 2021, you know what happened and how crazy it was. If you missed it or joined after this, here’s a short recap of what happened:

As usual for BANANO Discord paprties, we had quite some nice rains, just two examples here:

On April 1st, 2019, we burned 300 Million BAN

On April 1st, 2020, we burned 191,919,191 BAN

On April 1st, 2021, we burned 973,801,445.86 BAN (tx link here; valued 13.8 Million USD at the time) down to a total of 1,919,445,568 BANANO (new BANANO total supply).

This means that more than 63% of the BANANO supply is now circulating/distributed (circulating Supply: 1,222,959,123 BAN)

New faucets and modifications of current ones will follow over time, and adjustments might always be made to ensure that BANANO’s free distribution stays fair, and also doesn’t make our community members too dependent on BANANO earnings.
